Letter of blessings by the famed Gaon Rabbi Meir Leib Pria Av Beis Din of Shuran to Maran Rabbi Yosef Zvi Dushinsky, Mara DeAra Kadisha Jerusalem, for the Bar Mitzva of his only son the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Yisroel Moshe Dushinsky. Shuran, Kislev 1934. 


In his letter, the Gaon Rabbi Meir Leib Pria blesses the father for his son’s Bar Mitzvah: לעת בר המצווה של בר חכים בנו הבחור המשכיל זרע ברך ד’ נ"י אני בא את עטי עט ברכה להביע לו ברכתי ברכת מז"ט מקרב לב עמוק יזכה לגדלו מתוך רב נחת ועונג וכ"ט לאילן רברא פרי…ויקויים בו גיל יגיל אבי צדיק וגו’ אכי"ר. 

Later he discusses an estate which was involved in a Din Torah, noting that his position has not changed. 


The Gaon Rabbi Meir Leib Pria Av Beis Din of Shuran, ‘Der Heiliger Shuraner Rov’ [1878-1944] a leading contemporary Rosh Yeshiva and Posek. His father, Rabbi Yitzchak Zvi, was the beloved son-in-law of the Kesav Sofer. On the day he married his cousin, the daughter of the Gaon Rabbi Yeshayahu Ehrenfeld, he was appointed his successor and became known as the Shuraner Rov.
