[3], 121, [5] leaves. 33 cm. On the flyleaf, a lengthy dedication to the bridegroom Rabbi Yeshaya Frey by the Chazan and Shochet of Shuran, Rabbi Shimon Ezrovich.
Rabbi Yeshaya Frey – the son of Av Beis Din of Shuran Rabbi Meir Yehuda frey and great-grandson of the Kesav Sofer. Succeeded his in-law, rabbi Moseh Deutsch, as Rav of Lemesh. Later, served as Dayan and Moreh Tzeddek in Shuran alongside his father. Perished with his father in Auschwitz in 1944.
Rabbi Shimon Ezrovich (1889-1944) was born in Chust and served as Shochet and Chazan in Shuran. Perished in Auschwitz.
Semi-leather binding. Stains. Small tears to the lower edge of the first leaves. Fair-good condition.
