Announcement handwritten by the Gaon, the Mekubal Rabbi Yitzchak Alfiya – on the Segulah of Tehillim and Tanit Dibur and its great power, based on the doctrine of the Noam Elimelech of Lizhensk. Jerusalem, ca. 1920.

Two written leaves, one of them fully and the other containing only several lines, handwritten by the Mekubal Rabbi Yitzchak Alfiya, the distributor of the Segulah of Tanit Dubur and its power to stop plagues and protect those who apply it.

The Mekubal Rabbi Yitzchak Alfiya is considered the father of the Segulah and Seder of Tanit Dibur. This is one of the earliest writings on the power of the Segulah.

The announcement was apparently edited for being printed and hung in synagogues and residences of Mekubalim.

It contains 13 paragraphs in semi-Sephardic script.

The Mekubal Chacham Yitzchak Alfiya [1878-1955] of Aram Tzova. Immigrated to Eretz Yisroel as a child and for years served as Dayan, Shochet and Darshan. Established the Or Chadash Vetzemach Tzaddik organization for studying Nigleh and Nistar and distributing the Torah.

During World War II, when the Nazis were approaching Eretz Yisroel and Alexandria, he dreamt that Rabbi Yaakov Abuhatzeira asks him to come pray beside his grave. He indeed travelled to his grave in Damanhur to pray there.
