Manuscript, Chidushim on Perek Eizehu Neshech handwritten by the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Zeev Halevi Lipovitz, an important disciple of the Saba of Slabodka, author of the Nachalat Yosef books.
These are two written pages with a Maracha on the Sugya of Perek Eizehu Neshech, leaf 61. The content of the leaf was published in the writer’s book Nachalat Yosef (Tel Aviv, 1972) on the Shas and Rambam, p. 145 and onward. The leaf was written, apparently, in his youth.
The Gaon Rabbi Yosef Zeev Halevi Lipovitz (1886-1962). In his youth, he became close to the Saba of Slabodka and became one of his important disciples. In late 1924, immigrated to Eretz Hakodesh and settled in Tel Aviv, where he became a leading spiritual and educational figure. Author of the famed book Nachalat Yitzchak on Megillat Ruth. Approx. ten years after his passing, his book Nachalat Yosef on the Sugyot of the Shas was published (Tel Aviv, 1972).
