Lengthy letter by the Gaon Rabbi Elazar Menachem Mann Shach – Maran the Rosh Yeshiva – for the Keiruv Rechokim Organization and the importance of the Mitzvah. 1982.
In his letter, Maran Rav Shach writes: ‘ומי יתן וירבו כמותם בישראל’ ‘משתאה אני על היקף הפעולות ועל מסירותם של האברכים שאינם חסים על זמנם וכוחותיהם ומוסרים עצמם לעבודה קדושה זו’.
The letter was sent in Cheshvan 1982, hectic days in the Israeli public arena in general and the Chareidi one in particular.
Maran the great Gaon, Rosh Yeshiva and president of Mo’etzes Gedolei HaTorah Rabbi Elazar Menachem Mann Shach [1897-2002] one of the greatest Ma’atikei Hashmu’ah and leaders of the world of yeshivas. The founder of dozens of religious institutions. Established the Degel HaTorah party and was president of Mo’etzes Gedolei HaTorah.
