Historic proclamation to the Yeshiva world, from "The Students of the High Yeshiva of Satmar".
The proclamation was written between the two world wars, in 1928.
The proclamation bemoans the state of Yeshiva students and the constantly dwindling number of students, and request that they unite and gather together.
"Should you desire to save the remnants of the Yeshivot from the complete annihilation looming at them, then there is only one solution and that is to unite as one and gather and meet in one place to discuss and seek advice for the great questions that echo in the Yeshiva world, and establish one central bureau which will work for all matters of the Yeshivot who wait for solutions, and the many will work for the one…
