Letter by the Gaon Rabbi Yeshaya Kalisch Dayan and Rosh Av Beis Din of Pressburg, a leading disciple of the Shevet Sofer and the Beit Yitzchak, Rabbi Yitzchak Shmelkis.
Letter handwritten and signed by the Gaon Rabbi Yeshaya Kalisch Rosh Av Beis Din of Pressburg and its Dayan for dozens of years, sent to the dear rabbinic Rabbi Yosef Ber Fishof, one of the leaders of the community, with a request to support the owner of this letter and certificate.
The letter was sent on Parashas Tezhaveh 1938, several years before the World War during which he was murdered.
[1] official stationery. Water stains that had damaged some words; the entire text os clear and readable. Good-very good condition.
