Private letter from the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, with a blessing and wisdom regarding a match, and encouragement to study Chitat (Chumas, Tehilim, and Tanya) as per the Rebbe’s instructions. 1967.
The letter was sent to the Chossid R’ Meir Duber, and in it the Rebbe approves and blesses a match suggestion for his son Elazar, and blesses that is should be in fortuitous time.
The Rebbe adds one acronym in his handwriting – ‘to good tidings’, and signs.
As a postscript, the Rebbe adds "certainly he keeps the three known lessons that are accessible to all in Chumash, Tehilim, and Tanya.
[1] letterhead aerogramme, specially typed as a private letter. One word in his handwriting, and his signature. Fold marks, tears at the edges of the envelope tab. Good-very good condition.
