Large deep work handwritten by the Gaon Rabbi David Shlomo Eibschitz author of the Arvei Nachal and Levushei Serad, on Safek Sfeika in Halacha.
A large autographic work by a great Gaon and Tzaddik, which to the best of our knowledge, has never been published.
Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev said of the Arvei Nachal that he merited seeing Eliyahu, writing in his approbation for the Levushei Serad: ואף שאין דרכי ליתן הסכמה על ספרים חדשים הנוגעים להלכה פסוקה, אך אוקי גברא אחזקתיה, כי הוא חריף ובקי בחדרי תורה כחד מן קמאי וכל מעשיו לשם שמים וצלל במים אדירים לירד לעומקה של הלכה".
In this large Kuntres, after the comprehensive work on Safek Sfeika, there are13 leaves written in orderly columns, there are additional works and Chidushei Torah including a fascinating list of volunteers to give meals, possibly to yeshiva students or the poor, apparently in different script.
On another leaf, a name for prayer – "להיוושע בזרעא של קיימא" handwritten by the Arvei Nachal.
The Gaon Rabbi David Shlomo Eibschitz [1755-1814] author of Arvei Nachal, a basic Chassidic book, and Levushei Serad on Hilchos Treifos. Av Beis Din of Sorka, Chrostakov and more and in his old age, of Safed. A wonderous Gaon whom the holy Rav Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev said of him that he merited seeing Eliyahu and the Rav of Apta revered him.
21 leaves. The edges of all the leaves are blemishes and restored, affecting words on the margins. The work is clear and readable.
