Sefer Tikkunei HaZohar, from the Printing house of the Tzaddik Rabbi Moshe Shapiro, Av Beit Din of Slavita, son of the Holy Rabbi Pinchas of Koritz. Slavita 1826.
This exemplar belonged to descendants of the Tzaddikim of the Parshischa-Porisov dynasty who emigrated to Jerusalem: the holy Rabbi Aryeh Mordechai Rabinovich, of the fine residents of Jerusalem, his son, The Tzaddik Rabbi Binyamin Rabinovich, member of the Beit Din Tzedek of the Eida Charedit, and Rabbi Nesanel Krishevsky, who is, apparently, the author of the many handwritten glosses.
Sefer Tikkunei HaZohar, from the Saintly Tanna Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai. At the beginning of the Sefer are approbations from Rabbi Mordechai of Chernobyl [25 Sivan, 5586 – June 30, 1826], Rabbi Chaim Hacohen Av Beit Din of Pinsk, and Rabbi Efraim Av Beit Din of Sedlikov.
Slavita Press, holy and exalted among Chassidim, lofty people, and holy Tzaddikim for generations. The beauty, the value of the Seforim printed there, and the quality of the print, combined with the lofty holiness of the owners of the press, headed by its founder, Rabbi Moshe Shapiro, and his sons after him, where everything was done with immense awe of heaven, made the Seforim printed there priceless and highly sought after, and many Segulot have been attributed to them.
The original page numbering was mixed up. 50, 49-155 pp. Handwritten corrections to page numbers. Various comments and glosses, including Kabbalistic ones. Part of the title page in red ink. Age and grease stains, esp. on the first and last 2 pages. Slight wear. Light artistic restoration. Luxurious and magnificent leather binding. General condition – very good.
