Sha’ar HaTefilah, by Rabbeinu the author of Be’er Mayim Chaim and Sidduro shel Shabbas. Sudilkov, 1836.
This copy contains the seven leaves of ‘She’elah and Teshuva’ with which he responded to the questions of the author of the Noda BiYehuda on the Chassidim, their version of the prayer and their customs. This Teshuva is missing from many of the copies.
Sefer Sha’ar HaTefilah, by Rabbi Chaim Av Beis Din of Chernowitz and its vicinity. In his old age, he travelled to the Holy Land from which he sent this composition. Moshe Madpis Press, Sudilkov, 1836.
Many ownership signatures and stamps ‘Belongs to the Beis Midrash of the Chassidim DeLachovitch’ or ‘Belongs to the Minyan of Chassidim of Lachovitch in Vilna’.

Rabbi Chaim of Chernowitz [ca. 1746-1817], a disciple of Rabbi Yechiel Michl of Zlotchov and one of the greatest of Chassidus, author of the Be’er Mayim Chaim, Sidduro shel Shabbat and more. Av Beis Din of Mogilev, Botoshen, Kishinev and the district of Bukobina and Chernowitz. In 1813, he immigrated to Eretz Yisroel and settled in Safed.
Tiny holes to the title page and the last leaf, blemishes to the margins of leaf 72 not affecting the text and to the corner of leaf 73 affecting the text, aging stains, renewed binding. fair-good condition.
