Responsum on Hilchot Mikva’ot handwritten by the famed Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Yaakov Av Beis Din of Ponovezh – Ponovezh, Tishrei 1909.
These are four pages of a lengthy responsum on Hilchot Mikva’ot handwritten by Rabbi Itzeleh of Ponovezh. The entire responsum was printed in his Responsa Zecher Yitzchak (Jerusalem, 1949), Siman 56.
The famed Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Yaakov Rabinovich (1854-1919) a disciple of the Beis Halevi and the Gadol of Minsk. Studied Chavruta for approx. two years with the Gaon Rabbi Chaim of Brisk. During the years 1889-1894 headed the Knesses Yisroel – Slabodka Yeshiva yet resigned his position as Rosh Yeshiva since he objected to the Mussar doctrine. In 1895 became Av Beis Din of Ponovezh.
