Special letter of greetings for the new year, satisfaction from the children and great success, in the holy handwriting of the holy Rebbe, Rabbi Yaakov Chaim of Detroit. Yom Kippur eve, late 1930s. Rare!

The letter was sent on a paper preprinted with blessings for the new year, with a facsimile copy of his signature. The pre-printed date is Rosh Hashana eve 19__, but the actual year was not filled in.

On the opposite side, the Rebbe handwrote blessings for medical recovery, holy satisfaction from the children, merit to lead the daughter to the Chuppah, and a Gmar Chatima Tovah.

The letter is overflowing with his holy blessings, all in his holy handwriting and signature.

The holy Rebbe, Rabbi Yaakov Chaim of Karlin, also known as The Detroiter [1881-1946]  the third son of the holy Rebbe, the Yenuka of Stolin and the son-in-law of the holy Rebbe Rabbi Yehoshua Heshil of Loyev Chernobyl in Chudniv. Did not merit to have children. He was one of the first Admorim who emigrated to the USA, already in 1924, breathing life and enthusiasm of Avodas Hashem in the manner of Karlin. Devoted himself to the younger generation and was able to save many by establishing Torah-faithful families, a rare thing in those days in the US. Due to him, hundreds of Jews observed Shabbos, Kashrus and Mitzvos and many of them became G-d-fearing Jews. Was renowned as a wonder-worker to which many were drawn and bound and flocked to his holy court.

[1] sheet, printed on one side and handwritten on the other side with his signature. Fold marks. Few age stains. Very good condition.
