Talmud Yerushalmi, Seder Zera’im, with a commentary by Rabbi Eliyahu of Fulda. The press of Yisroel ben Rabbi Yitzchak Yoffe, Kopust [Shklov?], [1812]. Rare, With important approbations from the Kopust edition, including side-by-side, an approbation by Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev and an approbation by the Gaon Rabbi Chaim of Volozhin.
5 [i.e 6]., 6-45; 16; 17 [i.e. 18], [1]; 52; 12 [i.e. 13], 11; 10, 3 [i.e. 4], [3] leaves. 33 cm. Partly on bluish paper. Mispagination. With dozens of handwritten glosses on the margins of the sheets, some of them trimmed at the edge of the lines.
The text of the book is identical to Shklov 1812 edition of Seder Zeraim. Only the title page differs; therefore, it has been doubted whether the book was published in Kopust or Shklov. See: Ginzei Yisrael, Y. Yudlov, Jerusalem 1985, no. 140; Ohel Rachel, A.C. Liebrman, New York 1980, p. 166.
New, elegant semi-leather binding with gilt lettering. Stains. Moth damage. Good condition.
