Responsum on Halachot of mourning and laws of the Nine Days and Tishah BeAv, handwritten by the immense genius Maran Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, 1995

These Responsa, characterized by a smowhat longer writing style than usual for the writings of Maran Rav Chami Kanievsky, author of "Derech Emuna", seek to explain and answer certain questions and clarify certain Halachot of Tisha BeAv, were written specially n a separate sheet of paper, and answer, in detail, two questions send by one of the inquirers.

It was always the custom of Maran Eav Chaim Kanievsky to respond to every single one of the myriads of questions sent to him, regardless of who was the inquirer, and he would keep all the questions and copies of the responses.

Many volumes of responsa had been written using the style of these responses of Maran Rav Chaim, most of which were extremely short – one or two words.

When Maran wanted to elaborate more, he would invite the quester to his home "when you happen to be in Bnei Berak, come in".

Before us are responses where Rav Chaim is relatively more elaborate in explaining the resulting Halacha, and his intent in detailing it. Every answer is about a line and a half long, detailing a conjecture and opinions as well as the common practice and the Halacha as it is ruled nowadays.
