Appointment document by the leaders of the Daman community for two Shadarim – Kislev, 1807 – with a fine, original red wax seal of the management of the community,  

Well-preserved and complete. 

In the document, the leaders of the community appoint two Shadarim to act on their behalf in Oiben Yashan. The document is dated:  "יום א’ ה’ כסלו תקס"ח" (Sunday, Kislev 5, 1807). 

The document is signed by the Rav of the comunity: "הק’ אליעזר בהרבני… מו"ה יאקב הירש ז"ל חונה פה ק"ק ואגפי’", and by "הק’ דוד סגל ש"ץ ונאמן דק"ק דאמאן".
