Lengthy letter of two leaves sent by the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Hacohen Kook, the founder of the Cheif Rabbinate of Eretz Yisroel, to the Gaon Rabbi Eliezer Silver and the members of the Union of Orthodox Jews, for the new colonies, Zichron Yaakov and Rishon LeZion, and their unions of vintners.
In his letter, which is typewritten and hand-signed by him, he describes the fruit of Eretz Yisroel and its good wine, asking to help the emissary of the colonies, Rab Katriel Rappaport, and support him as much as they can.
The letter was sent on the 27th of Menachem Av 1930. With his handwritten signature and stamp.
[2] leaves, official stationery of Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Hacohen Kook Chief Rabbi of Eretz Yisroel. Fold lines. Filing marks. Small tears along the fold lines. Good-very good condition.
