Sefer Ateret Tiferet Yisrael, a Kabbalistic commentary on Chumash, with innovations in NIgleh and Nistar, drawn from the Ba’al Shem Tov and the Arizal, by Rabbi Yisrael, son of Rabbi Shlomo of Satanów, a disciple of the Ba’al Shem Tov. Printing house of Yaakov Hirschenhorn and Moshe Schneidmesser, Lublin 1875. Third edition, based on the Warsaw 1871 edition.

This exemplar belonged to the Gaon Rabbi Simcha Shreibom, son of Rabbi Mendel Shreibom, the Moreh Hora’ah in the town of Gura, serving under the Sfas Emes and the Imrei Emes. Ownership notaions and stamps: “Simcha son of Mendel Schreibom. Gur, Kalvarija” “Today, Rosh Chodesh Elul 5661 I purchased from my money for the honor of my creator for 50 Kopeck, Simcha Shreibom of Gur”.

[4], 82pp. Dry paper with tears on margins, with no harצ to text. Slight damage to the frame on title page. Visible age stains. Nice, new binding. Good condition.
