Sefer Beis Efrayim on Yore De’ah – 1831 – both parts inone volume. Exemplar of the Gaon, Rabbi Mottel, Av Beis Din of Neustadt, a distinct disciple of the Rebbe R’ Bunim of Parshischa and Rabbi Shlomo Leib of Lenchna.
The end flyleaf is full of quill tests and many ownership notations on both sides. Among them is “Mordechai Mottel, the Av Beis Din here, Neustadt.”
This is the signature of the holy Rabbi Mordechai, Av Beis Din of Neustadt. Disciple of the Choze of Lublin, a distinct disciple of Rabbi Bunim or Parshischa, who was also his unterfihrer at his wedding. Later he traveled to the holy Rabbi Shlomo Leib of Lentchna, who never shook hands with anyone besides for his disciple Reb Mottel and a select few Tzaddikim.
