The Sefer was published only once by ‘his grieving son’ the great Gaon Rabbi Naftali Banet, Av Beis Din of Shaffe. At the end, an addendum with a description of the last days of Mahara”m Banet, in German transliterated into Hebrew ‘so that it does not remain as a sealed book to those who are not used to the holy tongue.’
The Sefer includes details of his greatness and glory, his virtues, his life, and leadership, along with words of Mussar and encouragement.
A special segment, added as a footnote, deals with the issue of exhuming Tzaddikim in order to rebury them near their ancestors, especially regarding the Mahara”m Banet himself.
