Sefer Torat Habayit by the Rashba – exemplar of the Gaon of the generation – Rabbi Yehuda Leib Shaiar, Av Beis Din of Düsseldorf – his signature and glosses.


Two signatures on the title page: “The Earth and all in it is to Hashem, the young, Leib Shaiar”.

On the pages of the Sefer are several short glosses and proofreading comments, handwritten by Rabbi Leib Shaiar. On the page following the title page is pasted a piece of the flyleaf where Rabbi Shaiar wrote the birth date of his daughter.
