Postcard handwritten by the famous Gaon, the Tzaddik Rabbi Yeshaya Furst, Av Beis Din and Rosh Mesivta of “Adas Yereim” – the Schiffschul in Vienna, to the famous Rabbi Moshe Blau, 1927.
In this letter, sent to Rabbi Moshe Blau when he was staying in Antwerp, Rabbi Furst describes how much he does for the Chadorim in Yerushalayim. He describes how much effort he put in Holland on behalf of Keren Hatorah and the Chadorim in Yerushalayim, but the Dutch Jews have their systems and rules on how and where to donate. He concludes with a wish that the borders of holiness in Yerushalayim continue to extend.
Please see the Hebrew listing for biographical information on Keren Hatorah and Rabbi Furst.
