Unprinted Chiddushim handwritten by the immense Gaon, rabbi Naftali Yaakov Hacohen of Haifa, author of “Otzar Hagedolim” and other important Seforim, sent as a ‘Kvittel’ before Rosh Hashana, stating that there is an opinion among the Poskim that there is a concept of ‘Mishloach Manot’ then. He includes his name and his mother’s name and his wishes for a good year.
