Letter of charity and many blessings for salvation, handwritten and signed by the holy Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Nochum Heschel of Trisk Loitzk, scion of the holy Tzaddikim of Apt, Zinków, and Krilovitz (Kurylivtsi). Undated.
The letter is entirely handwritten and signed by the Rebbe, with an addition on the opposite side of the page. The page is torn somewhat at its top, resulting in the loss of the recipient and the date.
The letter deals with a request for assistance to a needy person, and the Rebbe notes that he had sent the request for charity to one of the famous wealthy people in Tel Aviv.
The Rebbe ends his letter with many blessings:
My blessing will come to you and all yours that Hashem may help and provide in all details, health and salvation, success and expansive livelihood so that you may let know only good and Nachas, and I hope, with Hashem’s help, to mention you for good at any time, as is the will of your steadfast friend who awaits Hashem’s salvation.
The holy Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Nochum Heschel, son of the holy Rebbe, Rabbi Yitzchak Meir of Zinków and Krilovitz, son of the holy Rebbe, Rabbi Shmuel of Krilovitz, son of the holy Rebbe, Rabbi Meshulam Zusha of Zinków and son-in-law of the holy Maggid of Trisk. Was murdered during the holocaust.
