Holy letter, handwritten and signed by the holy Rebbe, Rabbi Yisrael Avraham of Skolen, regarding charity and full of blessings. 2006.

The letter was written in support of a prominent avrech from Jerusalem, who was in dire straits. In it, the Rebbe writes: ‘In merit of this great Mitzvah of ‘open your hand and give handsomely’, Hashem will help that you should merit that which is written ‘I will open the funnels of heaven, and pour on you unending blessings’, and Hashem will give you ‘from the dews of heaven and the richness of earth etc.’ and our eyes will see when Hashem will return his people soon, in merit of the mitzvah of charity – for charity is great in that it hastens the redemption with the coming of Moshiach and the building of the third Temple speedily in our times; with blessings of the eternal Torah.”

The Rebbe signs with his full signature, using his and his father’s names, and his surname.

Please see the Hebrew listing for biographical information on the Rebbe.
