Sefer Lechem Dim’ah, by Rabbi Shmuel Ozida, Amsterdam 1710. Personal exemplar of the holy Geonim and Tzadikim of the generations: the Gaon Rabbi Uziel Meisels – disciple of the Ba’al Shem Tov and the Maggid, the Sfas Emes, and his son, the Rav of Pabianice.


Exemplar bearing the holy signature of the holy Gaon Rabbi Uziel Meisels, a disciple of the Ba’al Shem Tov and the great Maggid.
The volume wound up in the hands of the holy Sfas Emes of Ger, who used it frequently in study.
From him, the exemplar passed to his holy son, the famous Gaon Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Pabianice, who signed his name in it, writing that the Sefer was the property of his illustrious father and of Rabbi Uziel Mesels, as well as adding many short glosses throughout.

“Sefer Lechem Dim’ah” is a commentary on Megilas Eicha, including Rashi’s commentary and a commentary by Rabbi Shmuel Ozida.

Title page and preceding flyleaf contain
signatures in the holy handwriting of Rabbi Uziel Meisels, with an ex libris notation ans well as some chiddushim.
Also on the title page, the holy signature of Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Pabianice, who writes:
“This Sefer belonged to the holy Gaon, Rabbi Uziel Meisels OBM, Av Beis Din of Rothshwell”, and following that
“Hashem granted me from the estate of my father, my master and teacher OBM, Menachem Mendel Alter of Ger”. There is also a rare and interesting Ex Libris stamp of the Rav of Pabianice.
The Sefer is full of short glosses handwritten by the Rav of Pabianice.
On the end flyleaf is another ex libris notation stating the Sefer belongs to Rabbi Uziel. On the back cover flyleaf is another signature by the Rav of Pabianice.
