Manuscript of Chiddushei Torah handwritten by the Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Deutsch, Dayan in Miskolc (son-in-law of the Gaon Rabbi Shraga Feisch Fischman) – Miskolc, 1891-1892 – Never printed
On the first page, the author’s brother-in-law, Rabbi Meir Feisch wrote: “Chiddushim in Agadda from my esteemed uncle, the late Gaon Rabbi Yuda Deutsch OBM, who was … Miskolc… Meir Feisch”
The Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Deutsch (1857–1895) served as Dayan and Moreh Tzedek in Miskolc during the years 1885–1895. In responsa ‘Beit She’arim’ there is a responsum sent to him, at the opening of which he is described with the following: “My friend, my beloved, excellent Dayan in ruling, his learning is organized and ready, sharp and well-versed…”
