Signatures and notations on the title page: “given to me by my relative, the honorary Gimpreich Emmerich, in February 1819, to me, the young Leibly Schwartzshield”.
Rabbi Leib Schwartzshield was a scribe and community trustee during the time of the Hafla’ah, and he is here signing on a Sefer by the Hafla’ah’s son.

The Gaon Rabbi Meir Dan Refael, son of Rabbi Chaim Yitzchak Plotzky (1866–1928) – Av Beis Din of the cities Dohart and Ostrów Mazowiecka, author of “Kli Chemda” on the Torah. From the founders of Agudas Yisroel in Poland, and member of the Moetzes Gedoley Hatorah. Was a disciple of Rabbi Chaim Elazar Wax and his father-in-law Rabbi Yisrael Yehoshua of Kutna, and a distinct disciple of the holy Gaon, the “Avnei Nezer” of Sochatchov. Frequented the Rebbes of Ger, the ‘Sfas Emes’ and the ‘Imrei Emes’.
