Permission for an Aguna, written by the immense Gaon Rabbi Shlomo David Kahana, Rav, Av Beis Din of Warsaw, and Rabbi of the Old City, from the leading Rabbis who dealt with releasing Agunot. Jerusalem 1947.


Four full pages, entirely handwritten by the immense Gaon Rabbi Shlomo David Kahana, who was the head of the Beis Din in Warsaw and later became the Rabbi of the Old City in Yerushalayim, until it was conquered by the Jordanian Legion in 1948.

The responsum was sent to the great Gaon Rabbi Aharon Yaakov Kleppisch, Rosh Mesivta in the Yeshivot of Slonim and Zevderov, the Rabbi of Śniadowo, and the first Rabbi in Otzar HaPoskim. Passed away in 1961.

The long responsum, entirely handwritten by him, also includes corrections and proofreading done in his handwriting, and bears both his signature and seal.
