Two interesting letters on various topics, from Rabbi Ferber, from the prominent Rabbis of London in his generation.
✵ Letter sent to one of the heads of Agudas Yisroel in London in 1927. In the letter, he mentions Rabbi Hillel Liberman, who became one of the managers of the Beis Yaakov movement in Jerusalem. Not that Rabbi Liberman was then a very young man.
✵ Letter sent in 1942, without stating the recipient’s name. In this letter he notes his toil in distributing his Seforim, and that he is careful to distribute them only to Torah scholars and not to ignorants, so as not to dishonor the Torah, and other such uncommon sayings.
The Gaon Rabbi Tzi Hirsh Ferber (1879–1949) from the leading Rabbis in London and head of the “Hisachdus HaRabbonim” union of Rabbis. A disciple of Rabbi Yitzchak Elchanan, Rabbi Itzele Blaser, , and Rabbi Naftali Amsterdam. Was Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Eitz Chaim of London. Rabbi of several neighborhoods and boroughs in Greater London and author of many Seforim.
