Receipt from the Yeshivah ‘Chofetz Chaim’ in Radin, dated 1924, during the lifetime of Maran the Chofetz Chaim.


As far as is known, there exist many receipts from the final years of the Chofetz Chaim’s life. This is a receipt from the decade before that, during the 1920’s. Inscription in English states the Yeshiva was established sixty years prior, while the Hebrew inscription says that it was established in 5724 – 1864.

The receipt is stamped with the seal of the Yeshiva and bears no handwritten content.
