A handwritten article from the holy Emunas Avraham of Pittsburg, where he expounds on the secret of changing names for healing the ill.

A page entirely in the holy handwriting of the Holy Rabbi Avraham Aba Leifer of Pittsburg, written during the life of his father, the Tzidkas Yosef of Pittsburg, where he expounds on the benefit and the secret of changing the name of someone who has fallen ill, based on the Passuk “and those who hope to Hashem will replenish their strength” and Chazal’s teachings.
The core of the idea is that the source and root of the life-force is tied to a person’s name.

The holy Rebbe, Rabbi Avraham Aba Leifer of Pittsburg (1918–1990) son of the holy Tzidkas Yosef of Carei (Krula) and Pittsburg, son of the holy Rabbi Bertzi Leifer of Nadvorna and Satmar. Was ordained by his Rebbe, Rabbi Shlomo Zalmen of Rachov-Lugano. Later emigrated to the US with his father, and served as Chernowitzer Rebbe. Emigrated to Ashdod in Eretz Yisrael and there served as Pittsburger Rebbe. Brought many closer to Hashem through his prayers, songs, and the Tishn he would hold, and many thronged to him for advice, blessing and salvation which he would pour on those surrounding him.
