With stamps of the library of the Seminar for Rabbis of Berlin and with stamps "This Sefer belonged to the grandsons of the Admor of Tissa Salka" indicating that this copy was owned by the Gaon Rabbi Yoel Zvi Roth Av Beis Din of Tissa Salka. [6] leaves of indices are missing from the end of the Sefer.
The Rishon LeZion, Rabbi [Moshe] Yosef Mordechai Meyuchas (1738-1806), the son of the Rishon LeZion Rabbi Raphael Meyuchas and the son-in-law of the Rishon LeZion Rabbi Yom Tov Algazi. One of the sages of jerusalem who studied with Rabbeinu the Chida at the Beis El Yeshiva. Since 1760 was the Rosh Yeshiva of Knesses Yisroel and since 1794, a Shadar to Egypt and India. Since 1802 servd as the Rishon LeZion. Authored many halachic books and a composition on the history of Jewish Sages.
The Holy Gaon Rabbi Yoel Zvi Roth Av Beis Din of Tissa Salka and the vicinity was the grandson of the holy Gaon Rabbi Yoel Zvi author of Shut Beis HaYotzer (one of the leading rabbis of Hungary) and was named after him. He married the daughter of the holy Rav Rabbi Chaim Shlomo the author of the Shmu’ah Tovah of Koson, the son of the holy Rav the author of Bnei Shileshim. Rabbi Yosef Zvi was famed for his vast knowledge of the Torah, the Bavli and Yerushalmi, Sifra, Sifri, Midrashim and the Ari’s writings.
Renewed binding, without the indices leaves, stains, taping to the last leaf, good condition.
