Broadside for Hachnasat Sefer Torah of the Admor Rabbi Yoel of Satmar, finished by the Admor the Beirach Moshe and was planned to be brought to the Beis Midrash on Shavu’ot [1980].
[2] pp. printed color broadside, 21X28 cm. Possibly, was attached to a stick and designed as a Simchat Torah flag.
Side 1: עליונים ששו ותחתונים עלזו בקבלת תורה מסיני. הכנסת ספר תורה של כ"ק אדמו"ר אבינו רועינו הגה"ק זצוקללה"ה זיעוכי"א שנגמר ע"י יבלח"ט כ"ק מרן אדמו"ר שליטא. שבועות תש"מ. וזה התורה אשר שם משה לפני בני ישראל". Illustration of a Sefer Torah and Keter Torah. On its sides, in Yiddish, the route of the Hachnasat Sfer Torah, beginning at the the Atzei Chaim-Siget Beis Midrash, and the impoartance of taking part in the event.
Side 2: "ובאו כולם בברית יחד, נעשה ונשמע אמרו כאחד". Illustration of Luchot Habrit on Mount Sinai, with palms with on its sides as well as books of previous Admorim and a book with the inscription "כ"ק אדמו"ר שליט"א", Divrei Chaim and Atzei Chaim. On the side, in Yiddish, it is written that women and girls are prohibited from participating in the ceremony and entering the Bais Midrash, to maintain the Kedushat Simcha shel Mitzvah.
Stains. Minor blemishes to the edge of the leaf and a hole due to a staple. Good condition.
