Sefer Reishis Chochma – Kopust, 1810 – print house of the brothers, sons of Rabbi Uri Shraga Feivish Yoffe, disciples of the Ba’al HaTanya – exemplar belonging to Rabbi Pinchas Schneerson of Jerusalem, a great-grandson of the Ba’al Hatanya – his signature and stamp – a descendent of which nothing is known besides for this sefer and his notes in it, describing his youth and places where he lived.
Many glosses span over half the Sefer.
At the beginning and end are stamps: “Pinchas Shneior Sohn of Jerusalem”.
On the title page Rabbi Pinchas writes some personal information about himself: “I purchased it in Yerushalayim, and I was born in Chevron in 1846, and in 1852 we came to the hHoly city of Yerushalayim”.
Also appears his initialed signature.
There are many long and short glosses written over half the Sefer. There is no way to know whether they are his or from a different owner.
