Collection of letters and speeches from the holy Admor, the Beis Avraham of Slonim – some unprinted – typewritten copies of manuscripts in his handwriting.
Collection of copies of letters and speeches, written and said by the “Beis Avraham” of Slonim, found as part of the estate of the renowned Rabbi Mordechai Shlomo Weinberg (son of Admor the ‘Bircas Avraham’ of Slonim). The majority were hand-copied by Rabbi Mordechai Shlomo during the life of the ‘Beis Avraham’, and some were typed up by his son, the Gaon Rabbi David Eliyahu Weinberg OBM, from the heads of “Yeshiva Beis Avraham”, Slonim.
Contents:
I. 8pp. Speeches on the High-Holy days, said during Tishrei of 1929. Most of the content has been printed in Sefer Beis Avraham, but these speeches were written down by a different participant, who kept many Yiddish phrases which were not included in the printed version. Also noted are things he said by “Lechaim” during the Yom Kippur Eve Tish, regarding the Pogroms of 1929 which had taken place not long before – these words have never been printed.
II. Typed page of a letter from the ‘Beis Avraham’ regarding the High-Holy days, dealing with Avodas Hashem. Typed in triplicate using carbon paper. Never printed.
III. Typed page of a letter of encouragement on issues of Avodas Hashem, written by the ‘Beis Avraham’ to Rabbi Mordechai Shlomo Weinberg. Never printed.
IV. Written and typed copy of a letter that has not been printed, containing sharp words addressed to one of the elder Chassidim.
V. Five long letters from the ‘Beis Avraham’, which had been printed at the end of the Sefer Beis Avraham and in various anthologies.
