Sefer ‘Drush Chiddushei HaLevanah’ regarding the phases of the moon, by the ‘Tosfot Yom Tov’. Vilna, 1866. Personal exemplar of the holy Rebbe, Rabbi Nochum Dov Berenyu Friedmann of Sadigora. With his stamps and his handwritten markings.
In a rare and unique case, above the stamp saying “Purchased with my money” which he used to place on Seforim that he fully purchased, he added, in his handwriting, “Via barter”, i.e. the purchase was not made with money but via some exchange for another Sefer or item. There are no other known cases such as this.
On the flyleaf there is another typical label: ‘Bibliothéque of Rabbi Nochum Dov Freidman in Sadigora’ and a handwritten catalog number for Rabbi Berenyu’s personal catalog: 7606.
