Deed of guarantee for a loan given to one of the leading students of the Yeshivos of Bnei Brak, given and signed by the Rosh Yeshiva, Maran the immense Gaon Rabbi Eliezer Menachem Man Shach. 1959.
The loan was given Dec. 2, 1959, issued by the Gmilus Chessed Funds in Jerusalem for the excellent bochur Nachum A, a disciple of the Ponhevezh Yeshiva in Bnei Brak, in the amount of 500 Lira.
Maran Rav Shach is listed at the head of the list of three guarantors. The other two are Rabbi Yerucham Karelenstein, principal of the Chinuch Atzma’I school, and Reb Tzvi Haber, a merchant.
