Manuscript. Copy of the title page of Sefer “Et Sofer U’melitzat VeShe’erit Yosef”, by Rabbi Yehuda, son of Rabbi Yosef, son of Rabbi Yaakov Even Tzor. Morocco, 18th century.

Decorated title page entirely handwritten by Rabbi Yehuda Even Tzor, with a Piyut by Rabbi Moshe Zachut.

On one side is a drawing of the title page of Sefer “Et Sofer U’melitzat VeShe’erit Yosef”, by Rabbi Yehuda Even Tzor, and on the other side the poem “I entrust my only beloved (soul)” by Rabbi Moshe Zachut.

Please see the Hebrew listing for biographical information on Rabbi Even Tzor.

Based on this title page, it appears that Rabbi Yehuda Even Tzor wrote a sefer with commentary on his grandfather’s Sefer ‘Et Sofer’, and named it after his father, who had passed away in his prime, while his father, Rabbi Yaakov was still alive.

[1] pg. Entirely handwritten. Stains, folds, and tears on the side. Holes due to the acidity of the ink. Fair condition.
