Please see the Hebrew listing for more astounding anecdotes regarding the holiness of the Shlah.
This exemplar has the 44 pages of the Sefer “Vavey Ha’amudim”, by Rabbi Sheftel, son of the Shlah, bound at the beginning, rather than the usual placement at the end. In addition, this exemplar is missing the two title pages of the Shlah, and their contents (on both sides) was copied by hand in a neat, antique handwriting (from the mid 1600’s) verbatim.
The last page of “Vavei HA’amudim” contains a long self-dedication in antique (mid 1600’s) and very handsome handwriting, using prose and rhyme, where the writer tells in length that he received the Sefer from his father. The dedication is full of prose based on verses and sayings of Chazal.
Title page and first pages of the volume have several signatures and notations.
