Extremely rare and noble! Sefer Yad Rama on Tractate Sanhedrin by Rabbi Meir Abulafia one of the greatest Rishonim. First edition, Salonika, 1798. Dedication by the publisher Rabbi Yechiel Elyakim, one of the sages of Salonika, to Rabbi Avraham Mizrahi, the grandson of the Rashash and one of the greatest Kabbalists of Jerusalem.

A copy of the first edition that was published in Salonika in 1798.
Appearing on the title page is a dedication by the publisher the Gaon Rabbi Yechiel Yaakov Elyakim to the Holy Gaon Rabbi Avraham Mizrahi-Sharabi: "לרב אחאי הח’ הש’ הדיין המצוין המקובל האלקי כמוה"ר אברהם מזרחי דידיע שרעבי נר"ו הולך ואור עד נכון היום והוא מרומים ישכון בהלו מאת הצעיר יעקב אליקים ס"ט" – “To the… exalted and complete, noted Dayan, G-dly Mekubal, Rabbi Avraham Mizrahi… Sharabi, his light shines on throughout the day, who resides in lofty places in His shadow, from the young Yaakov Elyakim S.T.”
In addition, appearing on the title page is the a stamp imaging the signature of the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Halevi Herzog.
The Holy Gaon Rabbi Avraham Raphael Shalom Mizrahi-Sharabi (1775-1827), one of the greatest kabbalists of Jerusalem in his generation. The grandson of the holy Rashash (the son of his son Rabbi Chizkiya Yitzchak). Served as the Rosh Yeshiva of the Beis El Kabbalist Yeshiva after the passing of the Maharit Algazi. His son-in-law was the Rishon LeZion (and the Rosh Yeshiva of the Beis El yeshiva) the holy Gaon Rabbi Avraham Chaim Gagin who published his Sefer Divrei Shalom. The greatest rabbis of Jerusalem wrote of him: "He spoke Toras Emes deep and hidden words … his holiness is unsearchable".
The Gaon Rabbi Yechiel Yaakov Elyakim, one of the greatest sages of Salonika. Was born in Jerusalem. Published and edited religious compositions and was famed for his religious greatness. In addition to the Sefer before us, he published the Shut Maharari Bruna, which he proofread and to which he added a foreword, and Neharot Damesek by the Rashal Kamondo.
