Sefer Netiv Chaim, on the Magen Avraham and the Taz, by the Gaon Rabbi Nesanel Weil, author of ‘Korban Nesanel’/ Printing press of Shmuel Sa’adon, Livorno, 1820. Second edition, with a dedication from the brothers Ben Oleil of Gibraltar.

25 [should be 26] pp. Last page missing. With two dedications on the title page in Solitreo handwriting; “Dedicated by the pleasant brothers Yehoshua Ibn Oleil and his brother Moshe Ibn Oleil to the Beit Medrash of their father OBM”. On the flyleaf is a stamp: “Yeshiva Beit Yehuda ST”T Ibn Oleil, Tituan”.

Background: R’ Yehuda Ibn Oleil, a wealthy man from Gibraltar, founded Yeshiva Yagdil Torah in Gibraltar during the 19th century. This sefer apparently was donated by his sons, R’ Yehoshu and R’ Moshe, to the yeshiva.

Last page missing. Moth damage. Damaged spine. Damaged soft cover. Dog-eared, stains. Bad-fair condition.
