Sefer ‘Erchei HaKinuyim’, by Rabbi Yechiel Halpern. Dihrenport, 1806, first edition. Wonderous approbation by the Advocate of Israel. Rabbinical exemplar.

The Sefer contains many approbations from the Gedolim of both Lithuania and Poland. Among those is a wonderous approbation from Rabbi Tzvi Levi, the Rov of Zelichov, Pinsk, and Bardichov – the exact order of locations where the Advocate of Israel, the holy Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Bardichov served as Rabbi. Indeed, according to all researchers, this is his approbation.

The Holy Bardichover writes in his approbation regarding the worthiness of the Sefer and the merit of publishing it.
“Thursday, Lag Ba’omer, the young, Tzvi Levi son of the Gaon Mahara”sh, {year} “בתקוה טובה” Point of interest: The Bardichover’s father was Rabbi Meir, not Mahara”sh, but it is possible that this was a typo and should have been Mahara”m.

The exemplar belongs to Admor Rabbi Efraim Asher Halevi Rottenberg, of Kosson – LA, and Rov of the “Ner Yisroel” community in LA; grandson of the holy ‘Bnei Shileshim’ of Kosson, from the greatest Tzaddikim of the generation.
