An important, historic collection. A dozen letters sent by the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Lipman Gurewitz, from the leading Rabbonim who assisted the Va’ad Hayeshivos in Lithuania, and one of the Va’ad’s leaders in England and later in Australia.
From Rabbi Gurewitz’s archives, a collection of letters from 1930, sent from Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow and other locations to the immense Gaon Rabbi Chaim Ozer Grodzinsky in Vilna. Most deal with matters of the Yeshivos in Lithuania, while others deal with issues of Halacha, public affairs, and charity drives to benefit the Yeshivos and Russian refugees.
