Printed document with a handwritten addition by the Gaon Rabbi Yehonatan Halevi Eibshutz, Moreh Hora’ah in Warsaw and prolific author. Early 1930s.
Document sent by the Gaon Rabbi Yehonatan Halevi Eibshutz, Moreh Tzedek in Warsaw and author of Sha’ar Yehonatan, Chedvat Simcha, Simchat Yehonatan, Drishat Yehonatan, Imrei Yehonatan, Minchat Yehonatan, and Likutai Yehonatan, as well as the author of the Torah periodical Otzar Chaim.
Sent to the Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Leib Salczer, requesting that he send him his Sefer ‘Masa Yehuda’. The letter was sent unsigned, handwritten on a printed Halachic ruling and responsum from Rabbi Eibshutz, which apparently was printed in order to garner support.
