Letter of greeting to an assembly of Cheder students organized by the ‘Darkei Chinuch’ organization, headed by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Karp, which works to strengthen learning and review during out-of-school hours.
“I hereby repeat that which I have responded to your question, that the main point is not to direct the students to learn MIshnayot verbatim, but the main direction should be to understand the words of the Sages, each according to his capabilities, and after that to repeat and review their learning. And in the merit of their toil in Torah they will rise and grow to great trees in the orchard of Israel to the pride of their parents and teachers”.
