Sefer Be’er Yehuda, 2 parts. Exemplar of the holy Gaon Rabbi Meir Dan Plotzky, author of ‘Kli Chemda’ and Rabbi of Warta and Ostrów Mazowiecka, from the famous Geonim of Poland; also owned by the Holy Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum of Királyháza, and the Gaon Rabbi Aharon Chaim Zimmerman.


2 parts, with 2 separate title pages. The Sefer includes pre-subscription lists of the greatest Gedolim of the generation.

On both title pages are stamps of the immense Gaon
“Meir Dan son of R’Ch”Y Plotzky, Av Beis Din of Warta and author of Sefer Chemdas Yisrael and Sefer Kli Chemda”.

On the title page of part I is a stamp of Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum Av Beis Din of Királyháza, and his address in NY.
In the second part is a stamp of the author, Rabbi Avraham Chodosh – very faded stamp.

Bound together with Sefer Yad Shlomo by Rabbi Shlomo Hillel, son of Rabbi Yisrael Meir, Chiddushim on the Rambam – Warsaw, 1877. This Sefer carries additional ownership notations and partial stamps.

The great Gaon Rabbi Meir Dan Refael Plotzky (1862-1928), from the Geonim of Poland. Av Beis Din of Warta and Ostrów Mazowiecka. Author of Sefer ‘Kli Chemda’ on the Torah. From the founders of Agudas Yisroel in Poland, member of the Moetzes Gedolei Hatorah, and a Chossid of the Sfas Emes and the Imrei Emes of Ger. Disciple of the holy Geonim Rabbi Chaim Elazar Waks and his father-in-law Rabbi Yisrael Yehoshua of Kutna, and a distinct disciple of the holy Gaon the ‘Avnei Nezer’ of Sochatchov.

The holy Rebbe, Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum Av Beis Din of Királyháza (1913-1986) son of the holy Rebbe Rabbi Chanoch Henech of Sasov, and a nephew of Maran the holy Gaon Rabbi Yoel of Satmar. Changed his surname from Mayer to his mother’s maiden name – Teitelbaum. Son-in-law of Rabbi Yosef Lowy, Av Beis Din of Királyháza. Succeeded his father-in-law in his Rabbinical position and headed the Yeshiva there. After the holocaust served as Rabbi in the city of Satmar, and in 1947 emigrated to NY and served as a Rabbi there. Published his father’s Seforim ‘Ir Chanoch’. His brothers were Rabbi Chananya Yom-tov Lipa Mayer Teitelbaum, the Sasover Rebbe, founder of Kiryat Yismach Moshe and Rabbi Yitzchak Meir of Kretzky
