Sharp and painful letter, handwritten by the Gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Leib Levinson, grandson of Maran the Chofetz Chaim and manager of the Radin Yeshiva, sent to the heads of Va’ad Hayeshivos and a special Beis Din that was convened to deal with the issue of distribution of funds to the Yeshivos. Undated, ca. late 1930’s.

In his letter Rabbi Yehoshua Levinson complains that Va’ad Hayeshivos is managing an enormous fund in memory of the Chofetz Chaim, which directly harms the Radin Yeshiva.

To deal with this polemic and battle, a special Beis Din was convened via Va’ad Hayeshivos. This is the list of claims sent by Rabbi Levinson to them regarding this.

[1] lined paper, handwritten and signed by him. Preserved. Good condition.
