Letter of Maran the immense Gaon Rabbi Eliezer Yehuda Finkel, Rosh Yeshiva of Mir who reestablished it in Eretz Yisrael, where he exposes the dire situation his Yeshiva is in, prays for abundant blessings, and signs with his holy signature. – 1954.

The letter was sent to his close friend, Rabbi Avraham Tzvi Kushner-Frei of Petach Tikva, who had requested financial assistance from the Rosh Yeshiva. However, Rabbi Finkel painfully responds that not only is the Yeshiva in dire financial straits, he is also finding it extremely difficult to repay the various loans he had undertaken.
With his immense love for Torah, the Rosh Yeshiva notes that he is willing to undertake an additional loan for the sake of his friend, the Gaon Rabbi Kushner.

He closes the letter with his pure-hearted blessings: ‘that Hashem should fulfil all his wishes for good in good health and Nachas and all good’.
Letter is signed by him.
