Collection of letters from Rabbonim and Gedolim regarding charity and Chessed, most are letters and recommendations sent to the incredible Chessed organization “Ezras Torah” in the US. We can see from this collection a tip of the iceberg, just a glimmer of the immense work of Roshei Yeshivos, Geonim, great Rabbonim, and leaders of Klal Yisrael on behalf of their students and all of Jewry, in issues of charity and Chessed, building Torah institutions, and public matters which rested on their shoulders.
✵ Letter of Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Charlap, Nov. 1935, to the philanthropists of the nation, to stand to assist Rabbi Meir Weinstock, from the refugees of Mauritius, member of the Torah Learning Support Society in Krakow and Vienna.

✵ Letter from Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Levine, president of Agudas Yisroel, to Rabbi Yitzchak Gerstenkorn, founder and first mayor of Bnei Berak. Invitation to the fourth Knessiah Gedolah which was to have taken place in the summer of 1952. The Kenssiah eventually took place two years later.
